Great article in the Mail Tribune.
“The third annual Pear a Fare also will get under way Friday evening in a large, heated-if-necessary tent on the corner of Bartlett and Main streets. The Pear a Fare will run from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, offering samples of local wines, brews and artisan foods. See www.pear-a-fare.com for a list of participating vendors. Five taste tickets are $6 or, for $10, visitors will receive a wine glass and five taste tickets.
Local foodies also are invited to come out for the debut Smudge Pot Stroll, which begins at the Pear a Fare tent, where participants will receive a souvenir, illuminated wine glass and a map to 14 downtown restaurants providing wine and appetizer tastings. Tickets to the stroll are $25 or $40 for two.”
